
Sam Mickens, equipped with a BA in History and a Minor in African American studies from Montclair State University, has spent the past 20+ years coaching, teaching and mentoring young people in the public and private school system. He currently works at Trinity Episcopal School in Richmond, Virginia as the Associate Director of Admissions.
Sam considers himself a self-taught anthropologist and uses his travels a learning experience, recently exploring South Africa, Greece, various parts of the Caribbean and Mexico. He's fascinated by the distribution of wealth and poverty throughout the world, in particular the US.
